RERPORTERS: The Wild
Engine: Unity 2017
Development time: 6 months
Genre: 3D Stealth Game
Reporters is a 3D stealth game developed during the Digital Bros Game Academy Course, on a commission from Games Without Borders Association.
In this game we play as Daniel Carter, an assault journalist trying to investigate and bust an outlaw poaching organization. To do so, we will have to find clues and proofs, following the organization's representatives during the whole smuggling process of animals and ware, from hunt to sale.
The player won't have a second chance, and will be captured almost on sight at the slightest wrong move, making the game very hard core and intense.
Our only weapon in our posess will be our phone's camera, to collect proof and put every responsible under the public opinion's spotlight. But beware to do the right thing and don't be impulsive: wrong and irresponsible actions will mine your credibility!
In this project I was mainly enroled to develop the whole user Interface, from concept to set up and art. I was then assigned to the artistic team as Prop Artist and worked with 3D modeling and texturing softwares (Substance Painter). I also designed the structure of 2 levels (Mall and Basement) and cured level art across the game with the rest of the artistic team.
